VIPER CLUB OF AMERICA

                 HOUSTON REGION

It's always a pleasure to meet new people that share passion for the Viper! If interested in club membership, please contact us at houstonvca@gmail.com and someone will contact you with the details.

Can't wait for the next event!!  Hope to see you there.

WE ARE CONTINUING TO BUILD THE HOUSTON VCA WEBSITE,  our latest feature is a page dedicated to the folks that service our Vipers.  In an effort to provide all Houston Viper owners current knowledge about service that is available, tuners and dealers will all have the opportunity to introduce themselves and provide their service information.  This will be a long term endeavor, as there are many dealers to contact, and we do not want to leave anyone interested in the Viper community off the list.   If you know the owner of other dealers, please let me know so I can contact them directly to be included on this page.  The dealers/tuners listed on this have all provided permission to use this information on our website.  The data is provided in the sequence in which it was received.

MEET YOUR BOARD MEMBERS who stepped up to the plate to get the Houston Viper Club going.  These men are seasoned Viper owners and will provide great support and guidance to the officers in guiding the club to it's peak.  They are, in alphabetical order:

Todd Barrow
Jim Boeker
Troy Harless

When you meet these Viper veterans, please thank them for making a commitment to the success of YOUR club.

Rounding out the board are your officers listed below, totaling six individuals committed to making your Viper club a stress relieving, fun experience.

A big thank you to IVAN WOOD for his initiative to get the club chartered by the Texas Secretary of State.  Good job, Ivan.  Also, thanks to GEORGE FARRIS, National VCA Vice President, for his time and efforts on our behalf.  We look forward to visits occasionally from George, who lives a few miles south of Amarillo.

The Houston Region of the Viper Club of America welcomes all Viper owners in the Houston area to become part of the club, a place where the excitement of Viper ownership is shared with others that understand the unique experience of the Viper.

Meet the officers of the Houston VCA:

President                 Scott Merovitch
Vice President           Wayne Beck
Secretary Treasurer     Ivan Wood

The general consensus is that the club duties will be shared by all so that everyone can feel involved in this fun endeavor.  We are planning cruises, track days, lunches, and are on the lookout for some unique fun events as an excuse to get our Vipers together.

The website is under construction, so suggestions and patience is requested.  Events will be announced here and by email so that everyone gets the word.  Forum is now active for members.

Come join us.

DRIVE YOUR VIPER - HELP THE CLUB
Here is a fun challenge for us all.  East, west, north, and south Houston are all represented in the club.   Would each of you search your area for three locations as follows?

1. Meet-up parking lot with ample space with easy freeway access, preferably visible from a freeway.
2.  A cruise route 1 - 1 1/2 hours drive time away from town with less traffic and more character than we see on our daily drives.  Of course, this will require some scouting time in the Viper - tough duty for sure!!
3.  Destination food and refreshment facility with acceptable parking.

This will give us a data bank of cruises.  When your turn is up, you can be host of the cruise and get all the attaboys for a cool day out.  We can start our collection of these next meeting.

Be checking the website for the next scheduled Houston VCA Club meeting.  If you have any ideas, please let us know at houstonvca@gmail.com.  We look forward to see you there!!

Houston VCA Picture of the Month

Every Month, we will choose our favorite picture from our Houston VCA members.  If you would like to submit a photo, please send it to houstonvca@gmail.com.

Be sure to check out the events page for what's happening with the Houston Viper Club!

NEXT UPCOMING EVENT:

February 21 Westside Cruise and Lunch
Be looking for an email with more information soon or keep checking the website.

We are looking for some new events for the Houston VCA to be a part of.  If you have any ideas for things that we can do as a club, please email them to us at houstonvca@gmail.com and we will add them to the list of possible events.  Charity events, cruises, BBQ's or track days. It doesn't matter. Email all suggestions to and we will add them to the list.

DO YOU KNOW OTHER VIPER OWNERS?  Members, please extend an invitation to attend the next meeting to any Viper owner that has not met with us yet.  By each of us bringing one more Viper gearhead, we double the club size quickly.  Much of the fun of this club will be for each of us to help it grow into one of the largest clubs in the country.  Imagine 50 Vipers at our events in a few months - it can be done - and it will be a blast.  With that many actives track rental would be very easy to afford and will be great events.
